Bushkill Falls..

It’s called as the Niagara of Pennsylvania: Bushkill Falls. It was one of the breathtaking moments of my life when I saw the beautiful Bushkill waters set loose on the rocks beneath.

Wooded in the Pocono mountains, this waterfall gives it’s view from different heights and angles through wooden staired arrangements. The waters are from Bushkill Creek which then fall and flow into Delaware river after rushing over Bushkill falls and Pennel falls and then between rocky walls through the Upper Canyon and Laurel Glen.

The weather was cloudy that day, and by the time we got just to the foot of the waterfall, it started raining heavily. But after the rains what we observed was one of the most beautiful sights beheld. The sun’s rays piercing through the dense woods to fall on the water which shined like diamonds forming a rainbow on the rocks.

It gave us a damp, dense and cold forest’s feeling when we explored more into the woods with the falls water cutting through it.

There are places inside the park where you can also plan a picnic with family and friends. Overall, Bushkill was an amazing experience.
